83 245- The problem with locking keys in your car. (a solution) 200

Uncle Onkel Udo II,

I'd worry, if you reside in some criminal heck hole of an area, to lock the car.

I'm unsure of steel prices, yet some unsavory recycler may be glad to take that old used Volvo without ownership proof for like 300-500$

As for locking any door, I'm certain I have my keys in hand before locking any door. An owld habit.

I sort of hold hard onto the 240s I have and have had. When I have let others use my 240s, usually not very much goes well. Unless you're in the back seat and let a pal drive you in your OvLov. Just get your key back.

Nothing like going to work some morning and either your 1979 Volvo 242 GT is gone, out of gas, or turned around from where I left it, and out of gas. And you did not loan the key to your 1979 Volvo 242 GT so others can make copies of it and drive your Volvo 240 as they please.

cheers,

dud.
