No, this is different than the armrest mounts. I've had 240s with armrests before but this is entirely contained within the console. CF http://i.imgur.com/LOCouUS.jpg I've since installed it in my 91 244 and it fits fine and looks pretty good too, and gave me a chance to replace the bulbs in the seat belt buckles while I was at it.
