Hi:
trying to avoid being political here, but one of many reasons I am an active Libertarian is that local governments, HOA's, etc. are aggressive in squeezing small businesses out. If, as used to happen, you have an old Volvo driving and get a few junk units for your parts and sell some extra parts to friends, the junkers behind the pole barn or garage, pretty soon the city might come around and squeeze you out because the land down the street will become Lake Hogwart Arms Estates, pricing from the 350,000, and the neighborhood is becoming gentrified. That puts the squeeze on you, and a modern junkyard can only carry a few parts and quickly scrap the rest. This Old House is high status, This Old Volvo not so much.
