As for the other. It's not the HOA or whatever LandBarons

It's rapacious Rent Seeking in the Internet Landscape. And no one has played that better than Jeff (the Richest man in the World) Bezos. Who famously said "we don't make a profit, make it up on Volume" AKA the Volume of bidnesses that will eventually pay Amazon RENT to be able to sell on the Web.

Want to sell something on the Net...pay Jeff a tithe.
