I'm sure I have mentioned this many times, but if you have a late B18 engine block you can BOLT ON the Bosch alternator Volvo used on the B20 and B30 engines without an adapter.

Rebuilt by Bosch generators came with new end plates so no damaged mounting holes, but since I can't get rebuilt by Bosch generators anymore, I've been doing a lot of Bosch alternator conversions in last 10 years.
