Oil in intercoolers is normal up to a cetain level. If you get 2 cups or more on repeated exams then you have a problem.

The crankcase is vented through a hose on the inlet of turbo that passes the oil droplet laden crankcase vapors (some oil is not condensed by the vapor separator box on side of block) into intake tract. Thses vapors will cool and will condense into liquid in turbo and in intercooler. If you drive really hard frequently the oil will be blown on through and will never accumulate to any extent.
