What I'm referring to is what we midwesterners call "REformulated gas". That's the ethanol blends. I don't know if they use the methyl tertiary butyl ether blends anymore due to environmental problems.

You probably have it in CA, depending on the area. It usually coincides with areas where they smog test cars. Even the reformulated formulas change, but they are different than what you'll find in the middle of rural areas.
