Indicator Doesn't Cancel .....Help Please 200 1985

Thanks fellas,

I removed the plastic surround below the steering column. The indicator arm seemed to be intact. A white nylon bevelled arm protrudes at the base of the arm and it shows no sign of breakage.

Over the weekend I'll remove the steering wheel and look for signs of breakage on the column. I recall hearing a rattle in this vicinity. Maybe something has worked loose.

Are wrecking yards usually willing to sell the steering column mechanism as a single entity?
