If you are getting a click at the solenoid , but still no activation, the solenoid may be leaking internally.
Get ahold of Duane Hoberg (aka OD Guru )at DAHoberg@aol.com , he sells the o-rings to rebuild that thing for a tiny fraction of what a new one cost.
very easy to do.
