Ok, I have a problem, which isn't too serious, but it annoys me.
When I have less than a half tank of gas, am accelerating right around 2600 RPMs, the engine starts to stutter, then it "kicks back in" and continues accelerating like normal.
My first guess was the fuel filter. I replaced it, and the old one was pretty clean. Now I'm thinking it might be the fuel pump(s), but which one? I was also told it may be the vacuum advance on the distributor, but that wouldn't make sense because it only happens with less than a half tank of gas. What are your guys' thoughts about this?
Thanks
Martin
