Well, a few things. One is that they're tasteless. It brings Volvo's down to the level of riced out hondas and crap with these clear things. People that think they're cool have limited taste.
It's illegal to drive with them, so they're completely non-functional.
I think it's funny that someone actually makes them, that there's actually a market for them, that someone that owns a Volvo would even think about purchasing them.
Where I'm from, clear lights, along with blue / green headlights and huge stereo systems are considered things that true auto enthusiasts (with taste) can laugh at. They're just another american invention to try and make your car unique, and more "european." Truth being that none of these morons have ever been to Europe, and hence have never seen that it's required that cars have amber signals on all sides of the vehicle, not clear ones.
