no spark at no. 1 plug 700

When I emplied that I started I turned the key over and with a spart checker, I installed it on the no. 1 plug wire there was no spark. It has never started it was delivered to me on a wreckers hook. I have the alldata cd disc to help evaluate my problem this is the first time I have ever worked on a brick.
