Cold-start problems on 1984 240 - solution 200 1984

Bill, I was just about to post suggesting the oxygen sensor would not fix your run lousy for the first block symptom. I know some '84s were built with three wire (heated) sensors, but most (and mine) are unheated -- the sensor old or new won't be at temp or even paid attention to in the first block.

But then, who am I to argue with success!

Thanks for the follow up. By the way, I just knocked an oxygen sensor loose with one of those new short combination wrenches I treated myself to. I use 22mm and 7/8" interchangeably.
