No sir, you did not miss anything for I was witholding post till my parts arrive.Since you've asked here's the recent update!!
1.Took the car to my Volvo's only shop. Engine wiring harness was checked and everything was done right.All possible culprits i.e.Tps,temp sensor etc. were
checked and they are positive it's my Idle motor (a.k.a. ICV)that is malfunctioning.If attached, car idles real high but if you tap it hard it idles
normal.I'm driving it right now w/ the idle motor disconnected and it's fine.Part should be coming in anytime.I also tried cleaning it but it still sticks.
The FPR in question is for my friend's project car.He bought an '85 744Tic
just so he can have a "toy" to work on..I will post the Finale' very soon.
