if you don't hear fuel pumps running while cranking, and running for a second or two after the car shuts off, then they're not activating for some reason. The #1 culprit is the fuel pump relay. Try jumpering the terminals (the big wires not the small ones) on the back of it and seeing if the car starts. If it works, the relay needs to be replaced or fixed. Otherwise try disconnecting the air mass meter and starting the car, this might work, and means you either have a bad connection or the AMM is bad.
