Yeah, but that is why I said your car needs a Bosch # 0 280 000 561 or better, the # 0 280 000 951 from any 89-on 240 or normally aspirated 700. So that you would not have to match year and so you would know the pool of cars from which the proper ECU could be obtained. You will often find these units in cars marked rebuilt or in Swedish "Testad" or CC CC or CK CK whick, I think, are signs of tested or rebuilt units. So many of them have failed by now that the likely hood of a rebuild is pretty high. I think the problems were taken care of in later years and in re building.
Also, are you sure it is not the AMM?
