I am bored so I was going through old posts and came across this one. At the risk of sounding like another post, I am going to chime right in here. Sorry, but I was crying too much laughing to read all of the responses on this string.

I am taking a wild stab here: Maybe people are not keen on helping due to personal comfort level for any given subject. I reply to as many posts as I can with the knowlege I have, which is not Volvo specific.

My gander at why there are 150 posts to taillight trim is because that is what the beginner mechanic is comfortable giving advice on.

Just my thoughts.

As far as your tranny issue, I would say you need to replace your pump screen above your tranny pan. Give it a good flush, borrow (swap) a known good OD relay for a few days, and see what happens.
