crank position sensor - how to check? 700 1990

I think there is some info in the FAQ about this. You may also want to consider replacing it anyways, as a maintenance item. It isn't too expensive, and it is a candidate for failure if it is the original sensor. This is especially true if your car is a turbo, because heat seems to be the culprit for the failure of this sensor.
