How hard is it to replace the rear seal? 700

I would bring the car back to the shop that did the work in the first place. Definately expect to have at least 1/2 the price taken off for labor IMO.

If you aren't getting anywhere with a "gentelman's warranty" you can tighten the screws a bit and mention that you hate to file a report with the better business bureau http://www.bbb.org/ because they want to play hard ball. or better yet, post how unhappy you are on all the Volvo web sites.

I would think a Volvo specialist would be of a high caliber and quality, but you never know.
