Should not be a problem, cars get just one replaced all the time, rarely can you ever feel any diffrence between diffrent quality/types of ball joints.
Usually diffrence in quality just comes down to how long they last, but even then it depends on the types of roads you drive, and dare I even say it, luck?
It's not like they are hard or expensive to replace either if you do them yourself, last ones I did on the 244 took me a couple of hours, and were dead easy, even though they have only been on the car a few months I'm thinking of fitting new ones, I want to get the power steering ones with extra castor...
