4th Gear 1800

I had that problem with the 2nd gear, and found that the synchronizers were worn. I replaced them myself--first time I had been into a transmission. The parts were a few dollars and the job didn't take all that long once the transmission was out of the car. In fact pulling and replacing the transmission took as long as fixing the problem, if not longer.
