have you actually run an entire tank of gas of highway only driving? in nyc i see horrible mileage (12-15 as you said) but with about 50/50 highway/city (nyc, remember that!) driving i get about 18-20.

on my trips between nyc and albany, however, my mileage is around 25-26mpg.
