Cold start problem....hair is falling out 700 1986

Is your FPR bad? It's a little canister above your intake manifold with a small vac line going into the intake manifold coming out of it. Remove that vac line, if fuel comes out, the FPR is bad. Mine was doing the exact same thing. I replaced the FPR this summer and it hasn't hard-started since.
