I don't have any negatives regarding the TrueTrac. Nothing happens suddenly. The clutches on the Volvo LSD my car were very firm (it may have been a Type R LSD). I found that as tight as the clutches were, that both rear wheels were using part of their traction against each other, and that it felt like the rear end was breaking loose at lower speeds than with open differential. My wife's and my son's car are both equipped like mine (B230FT, M46/OD, IPD sway bars), and while neither of those cars had acceleration traction like mine, that both cars cornered better. Not so with the TrueTrac.
