164e: hot-start problem and slow power window 140-160 1975

Steve, I consulted one or two people that I know from the Net, who I keep for emergencies (don't want to bug them incessantly with ?????s).

The consensus is that we both have bad fuel pumps, probably running well under the proper flow/pressure as well as bad drain-back valves. They say that D-jet should have zero problems with fuel vapourization.

Now the question is: where to get the best price on a pump that hasn't been on someone's shelf for 30 years :-).

Steve
