No OD.....The solenoid is working fine.

Thanks you for responding Hillbilly....
The kickdown cable seems to be working fine. It moves in and out with the throttle like it should. I even adjusted it in a little so it would not be pulled quite as far. I had adjusted it out a bit some time ago so it would downshift faster. It is now adjusted so the factory crimp in the cable is near the grommet on the cable housing.
