all season replacement tires

Before I purchased my current 940 I didn't know there were different types of tires ... I merely read reviews in Consumer Reports. My current tires, Yokohama YK420 (only at Discount Tire) are "performance" type (a little better handling and road feel ... good compromise tire). But, if you really don't care about upgrading, then standard "touring" tires should suit you well.

By the way, I have found that I do not need separate snow tires for general driving in Michigan.

With that said, and based on a lot of research I did, I would suggest the following for the northern midwest (all-seasons) (there are more that I will have missed): (not in any order)

Michelin X-One
Goodyear Aquatread 3 (if you don't mind gaudy sidewalls)
Yokohama AVID Touring
Michelin Symmetry
BF Goodrich Touring T/A

Hey, let us know what you finally pick ... and how you like them.
