emissions testing 200 1982

Two years ago my '83 242 DL failed the Ontario emissions testing due to a software glitch that suggested all B21A engines were fitted with catalytic converters.

This year, thanks to corrections to the software, the same car passed the Ontario testing without any problems whatsoever.

Word is that the Ontario gov't was using U.S. based software with the test computers.

Now that she's twenty years old, my 242 is exempt from all future testing in Ontario.
