Nice Amazon, Mr. Bond! 120-130 1966

High;

If it doesn't burn oil and has decent compression, there's got to be something not right with that car, which is keeping its performance limited! I'd love to get under the hood of that baby for about 10 minutes so that I could locate what's not right...maybe your carb jets are clogged, or linkages are way wrong, and starving the motor... maybe the centrifugal advance is not working which limits revs terribly, but I suggest you hook up with someone familliar (and good) with the Amazon and have them help you straighten it out to realize the cars full >100HP potential...including your brakes...where there's GO, there's got to be WHOA (and straightening those out wont break the bank)....then take it out on the freeway and stretch its legs a bit...you'll probably be happily surprised...a 122 is no "Little Old Lady from Pasadena Car"!

I'll await (and kind of expect) a posting from you to inform us of how you (really) like the car then! ...and you might be passing me!

Cheers
