replacement of glass? 700 1989

My driver's side rear door glass was broken by the thief who broke into my car last Sat. night,(whom also stole my stereo). It is the stationary smaller window, not the larger one that moves. I just got a replacement from an '88 at a local import recycler. My question is how to replace. Is it pretty straight forward? Is the procedure listed in any common manual? Can a DIY figure it out?? Thanks for your help! Oh, my car is a '89 745 (151k).
