Why not the oxy sensor? 200

Dielectric grease is non conductive, it has a resistence to it. When you put it in a connector you do not want it as a path to conduct between the pins of one connector side.

The signal from the O2 sensor is low voltage, ~1V. The grease will noticably interfer with the low voltage signal.
