B21 in a 142 140-160 1973

The oil pan AND the oil pump from the B20 fit onto the B21/23 to facilitate an upright installation. But frankly, that is the lesser of many issues.

But the upright OHC engine in an old Volvo path is a fairly well travelled path. I'm sure there are some who have done it that could offer pertinent advice (motor mounts, manifolds, bellhousings/trannies, etc).

Recently there was even a post here with an excessively clean installation of an 850 5 cylinder engine into a 140.
