cam gear set 140-160

Double check that the steel cam gear is compatible with the original crank gear. I've heard that the pitch of the teeth is different and that both gears must be installed as a set, but I can't verify that from personal experience.

VPD is in Syracuse, New York State, USA, not Canada.

When using a supercharger, intake porting has very little effect. It's the exhaust ports that need opening. The freer the exhaust flows, the more effect the boost will have.

You also want to use a short duration cam. Too much overlap, and the boost blows the intake charge right out the exhaust valve. John Parker recommends the "C" grind as a good compromise.
