I think IPD no longer carries a 'hood quiet kit' for the 140 series but you could fabricate one yourself given the right material. Check out this link, they make a variety of foam materials with adhesive backings and heat reflective coatings. My '68 142 has the IPD quiet kit installed and I'd be happy to try and help you identify the material. I'd imagine a rep. for the foam company could help you determine the material also.
