Jpc,
I have a somewhat similar problem but I haven`t found out where the short is yet. My #8 fuse goes if I turn the key in the doorlock. If I go somewhwere and park where I have to lock the car, the #8 has to come out. I don`t have my central lock or windows except the front passenger one. Also, the bottom half of the fuses on the fuseblock don`t seem to corrode as much as the top half even though they get wet from a persistent windsheild leak.
Love to find the source though.
