Are you pushing the button in far enough? It's not a simple poke. It's more like a stab. The button actually has to go in about 1/2". Don't be afraid to push it a tiny bit harder. But if you push it REALLY hard you might break it... so I take it back. Be afraid a tiny bit. :)
