tail lights on 240 and bulb warning light driving me crazy!

I purchased a scantech tail light assembly from fcpgroton about a year
ago, and I cannot get that darn bulb warning light to quit coming on
every time I hit the brake or the left signal (was left tail light
assembly that was replaced). Have triple checked all connections,
cleaned and used dielectric grease on all contacts. sometimes will go
off (warning light) for a while and then right back on again.
am thinking of taking the instrument panel out and removing the bulb.
anyone have any other ideas? The lights all work correctly, it's
just the warning light that is the problem. Any input would be appreciated.
