Alternator Problems 200

I just had a look and the belts are very tight and do not seem worn or glazed. Is there anyway that this could be due to a bearing or faulty alternator (brushes?). I am quite sure that it isn't the belts. The squeel is so loud that it hurts my ears. Help please!!
