What year car do you have?

$350 for a '91 motor is about right. I bought a '91 B230F with the AW71L tranny (fits a 740), 140k miles, and paid $100 for the combo. The other guy pulled it out and delivered it to me.

If you decide to go this route (and if the engine fits your car), BE SURE to replace the rear main seal before you (your mechanic) drops it in your car.
