How About getting the engine quiter?? 200

240's tend to have noisy accessory belts. This is caused by the rubber bushings, which support the AC, alternator and power steering pump, distorting from age and heat. Then the pulleys and belts are not in line. You can see this by sighting down along the pulleys and belts. I've just replaced the bushings in my '86 (10 bushings) and my 940 (8 bushings). This and new belts has made those cars quieter. The job isn't too hard, just takes time.
