I had a new 1800 es rear,coupe rear, and nose section.When I got them they were $500-$600 a piece.when I went to sell them (10 years later) the price had DROPPED!Heres volvos current Prices for comparison
The nose section is NO LONGER AVAILABLE from volvo.When it was available it was the later nose and there was modification required (plates to be added) to make the bumper bracket holes smaller when mounting it on an earlier car.I wanna say It was Duncan Labay that was selling factory "plates" but they are easily made if you wanted to.
Volvo part number on the nose is 664373 their last list price $359.xx
The rear sections for the coupe and ES ARE STILL AVAILABLE from Volvo.Their list prices are:
664000 Coupe rear sheet metal $384.02
684242 ES rear sheet metal $316.81

Cmon ES guys,at $316 don't YOU wanna put one on the shelf!!
I checked with my dealer a while ago and could get them in the high 200's with my discount,I am going to check again today.
Not bad for a car that they only produced 40,000 of (47,000 including ES's)!!
