Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with fuel injection. Normally you would have had plenty of responses by now, but since "the move" recently, people may be having difficulty logging on.
However you can check for spark to a plug but that may be hard if you're doing the checks yourself. Pull a plug wire. Place a screwdriver/whatever in the hole where the plug head fits. Hold the metal part near a good ground, eg. engine block. Turn engine over to see if spark occurs. Be careful not to touch metal parts while doing this.
