Scan Tech coils - different part # 700 1991

I've had Scan Tech rear springs on my 945 for about 6 weeks, and I'm happy with them so far.

However, the springs I got are Scan Tech part # 30-6611 (FCP has them listed on their site as 30-6621, which is a typo)... which apparently is equivalent to Volvo part # 1359710. FCP lists these as heavy-duty coils.

Before I installed the springs, my rear ride height (measured at high point of wheel arch) was 26 3/4" on both sides. With the new coils, it is 26 1/2" on each side. Front ride height did not change with the new rear springs (was and still is 1/2" lower on driver's side).

With the old springs, the rear of the car sagged a lot when loaded up (and from time to time I really load it up). With the new springs, the rear moves down a tiny bit and that's it. Ride quality is good with the car loaded, and empty with just me driving.

If you got the new parts from FCP, call Nick and I'm sure he'll refund your $$. Hope you get it worked out to your satisfaction...
