engine is getting to hot, why? 200

"Then I replaced the water pump and fan unit and now it rises all the way to the line just before HOT. Today I decided I should check the coolant level and was astonished to find the resevoir tank completly empty."

Just top it up and see if the problem repeats itself. You usually have to top up after replacing a component. (Trapped air has to be worked out of the system.)
