Check Engine Light - codes 221 and 231 HELP! 200 1991

Ok, that makes sense. I actually thought of FPR when thinking the problem through, but I thought I would try to collect some more wisdom on this before I start poking in various places under the hood. So these units are know to fail? I wish the darned diagnostic system specified weather the mixture is too rich or too lean, then it would narrow the field a bit.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will look at it tomorrow.
