Next thing to check would be fuel pressure. My car has developed the corresponding code for idle, and it's due to low fuel pressure. Either my FPR is dying, or the fuel pump.

I assume you did change your fuel filter.

FPR and/or fuel pump maladies may also cause other driveability problems, like temporary loss/change in power while accelerating, etc. That's what my '93 940 did.
