You are correct- the part is used on 76-78 262 and 264 models. Which by now are as rare as 164's but still worth looking for. 1975 models for Europe, too.
Some (not all) 1974 164's used the 6 panel light as well. All the 1975's had it. It was hard to find good ones 15 years ago....so good luck!

One possible source would be The Autowerkes in New London CT... they have a large parts inventory and many parts cars.
