Is Ebay a good place to look for Volvo's?

I am sure that you have to be careful - regardless. No persaonal experience with E Bay, but a friend bought two cars there(not Volvo's) and got burnt on both.

I was looking at a 940 for sale on Autotrader that was in my area, and it was a low price - looked good - had a lot of pix. Figured there had to be something - kept looking, and finally saw some things in the pix that indicated it had been wrecked in the front. Then I pulled up a closer shot of the dash and center console area - and man - it was a real mess - dirt wise. Glad I looked closer.

I have bought two cars off of Autotrader, and been pretty fortunate on both. One trip I made to look that looked good - turned out to be a dud. Just did not buy it. I guess the problem with E Bay is that you are pretty much held to that bid.

I am sure there are deals to be had, and I am am sure there are really good cars being sold by brick lovers. Just have to be careful.
