Keeps trying to idle 120-130 1967

My '67 122s sputters for awhile after I turn off the ignition switch. I've resently tuned up the electrical and cleaned the carbs except the float bowl. Everything is original equipment. I'm not sure where to begin next and what could be causing the problem.
