Allison Ignition 1800 1973

Or just unfasten all 4 injector retaining collars and pull up the entire fuel rail/injector assembly with all hoses and wires still attached. Turn the key on and off a couple of times (to build up pressure) then leave the key on. Under the hood manually pull the throttle open. The throttle position switch should fire the injectors in alternating pairs as it opens, and you should see a nice spritz from each injector (none should be dribbly or have noticably less volume). This verifies that the injectors are working. Next, have someone crank the car (it probably won't start, but watch out anyway) and see if the injectors fire. If they don't, pull those switches out of the base of the distributor and manually work them with the key on, look for something amiss.
